Ten Clean Energy Stocks For 2018: September Quick Update As you can see from the chart, September was a tough month for my model portfolio of Ten Clean Energy Stocks for 2018 .  Seaspan ( SSW ) fell back on trade war fears and Green Plains Partners ( GPP ) fell on ethanol market weakness caused by retaliatory ethanol tariffs and the Trump EPA’s continued undermining of the Renewable Fuel Standard.  I’m less sure why Covanta ( CVA ) is down, but Clearway Energy’s ( CWEN and CWEN-A formerly NRG Yield) small decline is due to a recent secondary offering. Aurora Inverter giving E050 error randomly The message requires a reset to get the inverter working again, but it's random - may happen a couple times a day, may skip a day or two. I have checked every connection, and even inside the inverter where the DC gets connected (2 arrays running). I tried turning off each array independently, but it continued for both lines at the same frequency. The only possible point of spark generation would be the connector box on the roof, which has wirenuts from the arrays themselves to the cable to the inverter. They are tight, but I went ahead and wrapped them with silicon tape (didn't help). Could the inverter itself have a problem? We are currently considering financing a $19527 system through Mosaic, which works with our installer. 20 year fixed, reamoritizes at 18 months. 5.99% apr The installer currently estimates $103ish for the first 18 months, during which I would pay additional incentives (30% tax credit and a $0.60/watt rebate) toward the loan. After reamoritizes on at 18 months, they estimate a monthly payment of $68.11. I'm in clear on how these numbers are calculated, and haven't been able to verify them on my end. I have also read reviews suggesting that initial payments could be completely interest, and other such concerns. Has anyone financed with Mosaic? Help diagnosing solar setup I am trying to diagnose an issue with a new solar panel. I know theres only a few things in between the start and end of this setup that could be the issue (panel/wire/controller/battery/output) unless I'm missing something. I used to use a 40w canadian tire solar panel with the same charge controller which didn't have the same issue with the fluctuation on the input amperage. Once I installed this new 100W panel and after orienting it, I got about 3amps in consistently. But after an hour of working outside and coming back in I started to notice it was flickering on and off like in the video from 0 - X amps. The lights inside were also flickering. Does anyone have any advice on diagnosing this issue, or has it been seen before?' Solar System Loan Question A prior owner of our home had a solar system installed with a loan through SunLender. She then died. The house was sold to someone who lived there for about 3 years and then sold the house to us. During the title search there was no lien against the property for an unpaid loan.
