Solar System Loan Question

A prior owner of our home had a solar system installed with a loan through SunLender. She then died. The house was sold to someone who lived there for about 3 years and then sold the house to us. During the title search there was no lien against the property for an unpaid loan. We haven't been making any payments and no one has come knocking, but we want to do transfer of ownership of the system with the manufacturer of the inverters (Enphase) for the equipment warranty ($200), but I don't know how any of the lending stuff works, and now I'm wondering if there actually IS a loan on the system that I'm (unfortunately) now going to be responsible for paying...
