Voltage when using high draw appliance Dear friends, I have a question regaring my battery setup and what happens to the voltage when using a high amp draw appliance through the inverter. While I am using an appliance like a toaster oven the charge controller begins to flash and then become solid yellow and the voltage goes down to the high 11V area, but then returns to normal once the appliance has shut off. I have eight 6V 225Ah deep cycle batteries wires in series-parallel for 12V 900Ah. They are wired together using 4 AWG wire and high quality lugs and then wired into a 3000W pure sine wave inverter (Power TechON 3000W, 6000W surge). I also have eight 100W polycrystalline solar panels which go into a Renogy 60 Amp Commander MPPT Solar Charge Controller. Bogart Engineering TriMetric 2030RV battery monitor will reports a draw of around 70-80A when this yellow/amber light and voltage begins to display.
