Is there software to model a single panel solar system?

Hi, I need to model a system which has a single solar panel (100W) that has a controller and small battery which powers low voltage devices (ie street signs). Need to make sure the panel and battery are sized correctly to drive the load given the location in the US. Does there exist software, online, spreadsheets, matlab, etc that would help me do this?
